VDSML Mentoring Program
We are a small community of volunteers, therefore to meet with a mentor we ask that you be willing to meet with a mentee also. The mentoring program is intended to connect you with both senior-, junior-, and peer-experienced members. Each of us can grow through speaking and teaching mentors and mentees at all levels. When you sign up:
We promise to initiate a mentoring partnership between you and a senior or peer mentor.
When you find success in your journey, we may contact you about mentoring someone who is your peer or junior.
We want each VDSML Mentoring Program participant to give back as a mentor after accepting assistance from another mentor.
This keeps our mentoring program healthy and populated with available mentors.
Our team will always reach out first to confirm a potential mentor’s availability.
Each mentoring relationship should start with a 1 hour phone call. Afterwards you both can decide how to continue to support each other. When you are interested in seeking out new mentors just reach out again. LinkedIn will be our primary mode of communication when connecting mentors and mentees. Feel free to contact David Ramirez on LinkedIn regarding questions and specifics.
