Thomas Wileman

 
 

In 2011, Thomas Wileman commissioned into the U.S. Navy via the Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island. He is a graduate of North Carolina State, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry. He also holds Masters degrees in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and Business Analytics from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.

Afloat, his division officer tours were as Repair Division Officer and Force Protection Officer in USS BULKELEY (DDG 84) and Delta Company Platoon Officer in Coastal Riverine Squadron FOUR (CRS 4). Ashore, Thomas served as the team lead in the Surface Analysis Branch for Evaluation and Reporting (SABER) at the Office of Naval Intelligence.

After separating from the military Thomas began working as a data scientist at Red Hat in Raleigh, North Carolina. At Red Hat, he performs statistical analyses and builds models that support the understanding of customer experience on business outcomes. Outside of work, he enjoys running and spending time with his family.
